LONGUEUIL, QC, July 20, 2026 /CNW/ -- On August 3, media representatives are invited to take part in media events at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston related to the agency's SpaceX  Crew-13 mission. A panel of experts – including Mathieu Caron, Director of the Astronauts' Office at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) – will give an overview of the mission during a technical briefing. Also, the crewmembers, one of whom is CSA astronaut Joshua Kutryk, will give a press conference.

Crew-13 is slated to launch from Florida no earlier than mid-September 2026. CSA astronaut Joshua Kutryk will fly to the International Space Station for a long-duration mission, along with NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov.

Canadian media wishing to attend the press conferences in person must RSVP with the NASA Johnson newsroom at jsccommu@mail.nasa.gov no later than July 21 at 5:00 pm ET. Media joining virtually must respond by 10 a.m. the day of the event. This will be the only opportunity for Canadian media to register to participate in these events.
