The Government of Canada will make an announcement about online safety for kids.

CALGARY, AB, Sept. 8, 2026 /CNW/ -- The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, will make a funding announcement about the Digital Citizen Program and online safety for kids on Wednesday in Calgary.

The Digital Citizen Program supports civil society organizations and researchers in promoting a healthy information ecosystem.
