The Digital Sovereignty Alliance (DSA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing clear and ethical public policy, research and education surrounding emerging technologies, today announced the successful conclusion of its participation at the YPO EDGE 2026, held February 10-12 in Sydney, Australia. The annual gathering brought together more than 2,500 chief executives from around the world to explore the theme, “Human Excellence in an Age of Transformation.”
Just days before, Managing Director Adrian Wall opened the YPO Global Leadership Conference in Sydney calling on leaders to embrace differences with curiosity and bridge divides. “Difference is the condition but curiosity is the catalyst”, Wall shared with the audience. Building on this theme at the YPO Edge 2026, he believes this same idea can drive durable progress in digital assets. Wall urged executives to move beyond partisan gridlock, strengthen collaboration between traditional and decentralized finance, and expand access to digital and financial sovereignty.
On the final day, Wall moderated a 60-minute fireside chat with Kate Cooper, CEO of OKX Australia, titled “A CEO Framework for Crypto: Risk, Readiness, and Real-World Use.” The discussion provided a practical framework for evaluating digital asset risk, assessing organizational readiness, and identifying tangible use cases as cryptocurrency markets mature.
“Real progress requires bridging differences in pursuit of a shared goal. Our common values bring us together, but it is our willingness to engage across divides that makes us stronger,” said Adrian Wall. “The future of digital assets depends on aligning smart policy, strong institutions, and decisive leadership to build a more resilient, inclusive, and trusted financial system.”
